Anyone notice what happens(or does’nt happen)at Mark Twain Prize events in recent years? At the annual White House Correspondence Dinners? At the various benefits like Jon Stewart’s Rally? On and on, there is a recurring theme. Dennis Miller is NEVER at these comic festivals. Plenty of SNL stars(past and present) show up. But where’s good ol’? Dennis Miller? He does’nt even return to his comedic birthplace, SNL, to guest host. Surely, not everyone loathes Miller.

But? for everybody else, it’s a win-win. Unless you’re a gay woman who wants to marry your partner of 20 years—whatever. But for most women, the success of conservative women is good for all of us. Unless you believe in evolution. You know—actually, I take it back. The whole thing’s a disaster.”

Tina Fey is Not Funny! There is a difference between ridicule and satire. Tina Fey is not Sarah? Palin and all of her portrayals of Sarah Palin are mean spirited rants by someone that disagrees with her politics. It is a typical tactic of weak minds to ridicule when they cannot think of a logical argument. I can think of at least 10 Comedians that are more deserving of this prize including Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Jay Leno, Betty White, and Cloris Leachman. Fey wins because she is liberal!? BS!

Wow. I don’t like some of those other comedians/writers, but I kinda understand why they got the award. Not so much with Tina Fey.
Oh my GOD. Her? Look at the prior recipients. NO WAY can she stand alongside George Carlin and? such names. What a shame to the Kennedy Center.
Look, I enjoy her comedy. I love her. I leave it on the channel when she’s on, vs. others who I turn away from. But this is just insane.
She’s at least 50th on any rational list. What, is Letterman too young (then how old is she)? Or is John Cleese not dead enough? Even Award Steve Allen posthumously before this!
This is now the Nobel Prize for Comedy.
